Why Pursuing The Entrepreneurship Path Can be an Ideal Career Choice

Aside from being a lucrative career, being an entrepreneur has a number of reasons why one would want to transition from their current employment and start their own business. And although there is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to having your own career, it gives you the freedom you need to truly follow your passion and make the most of your abilities.

Dr Shafiq Choudhary, for example, is a reputable British entrepreneur who serves as the European Managing Director of Tetris Pharma. For years now, he has held the position of being an expert when it comes to pharmaceuticals, properties, and care home professional fields.

Since 1999, Choudhary has served in several Sales and Marketing positions for Marion Merrell Dow, Wyeth, etc., including being the Senior Product Manager at Janssen-Cilag and becoming the Marketing Manager at Archimedes Pharma (Link Pharmaceuticals).

From 2008 to 2013, Choudhary focused his expertise on establishing Blue Chip Healthcare to the public. This company has been renowned for its operations focused on trading and distributing pharmaceuticals from Europe. In addition to that, he also served as the co-owner of Intrapharm Laboratories in 2009.

Due to his exceptional work over the years, Choudhary is among the many professionals who have found their true calling as an entrepreneur. And if you can relate to some of the reasons why people opt for an entrepreneurship career, you might just want to try your hand at starting your own business.

Creativity in Abundance

Veteran entrepreneurs have often talked about how they had difficulty fitting into a corporate environment. They felt frustrated, but once they learned how to move away from that environment and embrace their passion, they discovered something more beautiful.

Steve Jobs once said, “When you grow up, you tend to get told that the world is the way it is…Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up of people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it; you can influence it… Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.”

Wanting More Than a Nine to Five Job

Most careers tend to have stable nine-to-five timings where you can be done with work at the same time – every single day. In contrast, having your own business is a constant effort, and most of the time, you will find yourself working odd hours. Hence, there is more flexibility to the entrepreneurial lifestyle as compared to what you have experienced in traditional styles.

Passion For Learning

When doing the same job your whole life, you do not learn more beyond what your work entails. Whereas in your own business, you are constantly engaging and learning new things.

Entrepreneurs have a passion for learning, and they are never satiated with their existing knowledge. They are constantly seeking out new things, getting excited about new things, and being driven to understand them is just another sign of an exceptional entrepreneur in the making.

And these are just a few reasons out of many – but if you relate to all of these reasons, then it may be about time you should start considering a career in entrepreneurship.
