Zhangjiakou, one of the three competition zones hosting the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, ushers in the booming development of the snow and ice industry

The construction of the Ice and Snow Sports Equipment Industrial Park of Zhangjiakou High-tech Zone started in August 2018. It covers an area of 435 mu, with a construction area of 247,000 square meters and an investment of 1.142 billion yuan. It is the leading ice and snow sports equipment industrial park in China and even in the world. The 2022 Hebei Zhangjiakou Ice and Snow Industry Expo, which will be held in Ice and Snow Sports Equipment Industrial Park of Zhangjiakou High-tech Zone on April 25 and 26, will promote the booming development of the snow and ice industry.

With the successful holding of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the development of China’s ice and snow industry represented by the Park has taken off. By the end of December 2021, the Park has signed a total of 50 projects and registered 44 companies, initially realizing the whole industrial layout covering from head to foot, from individuals to venues, combining light and heavy equipment, R&D, manufacturing, sales and services, and sports experience and exhibition. From the settlement of international leading ice and snow equipment enterprises to the establishment of a complete ecological industrial chain, the park is a veritable ” land of dream” and has been highly praised by leaders at all levels and media from all over the world who have come to visit.
