SVAKOM Partners with DROP to make a Worthwhile Contribution to the Community

A registered NGO, Drop In the Bucket, since 2006 has been making sure the community develops and grows by constructing water and sanitation facilities at schools and communities so that access to clean water becomes a reality for as many people as possible.

One needs to realise that it is the dream of many still to have clean, running water in their homes. Many people and communities are dying because of the same. Medical treatments are needed to save people from the diseases caused by dirty water. More than 2 million lives are lost every year due to the same reason.

This year SVAKOM has decided to work with DROP and give 10% of its sales from August 20th to August 30th to this great cause. The brand sees this as an honour to associate their name with DROP and believe the money will be truly well spent.

DROP brings life-saving water to communities and schools in Uganda and South Sudan. It also creates opportunities for education for children, especially the girl child. With education they are aiming at breaking the cycle of poverty for various homes. They are helping children educate themselves and realize their full potential. They make sure that every school has access to clean water and sanitation facilities.

The NGO has constructed and/or rehabilitated over 350 school water points in Uganda and South Sudan till now. SVAKOM understands its social responsibility and thus chose to partner with DROP as they identify with this cause. They want to support and further the tangible impact DROP is having on the lives of people.
