Lowden Introduces the Limited-Edition 45th Anniversary O-25 Acoustic Guitar

Lowden has celebrated its 45th anniversary with the introduction of O-25, a classically appointed, high-end acoustic guitar. The O-25 is based on classic Lowden L-25 and it is limited to 45 instruments worldwide. It will be available in full-body, cutaway, and left-handed options.

The newly introduced guitar has some exclusive custom features and it shares much of L-25’s specifications. The classic Lowden acoustic guitar has Indian rosewood back and sides and red cedar top. In addition to this, it has five-piece mahogany and Indian rosewood neck.

This high-end acoustic guitar has got a number of unique details that were not seen in the previous models. Its soundhole has a custom label, and there is figured mahogany binding and inlay in it. Apart from this, there is a custom back strip and the number 45 is inlayed on the heel cap. Lowden O-25 acoustic guitar has brought the 70s-style Lowden logo along with it. The company is also offering a 45th Anniversary t-shirt with the guitar.

George Lowden, the founder of the guitar company shared some words on the evolution of the 25 models on the 45th anniversary of Lowden guitars. He said, “Back in the late seventies, the 25 was regarded as the Lowden. Its richness, warmth, and power are true Lowden characteristics. The O-25 has gone on to be used around the world by a vast array of artists in every style and genre imaginable.”
