BMW’s news Group campus is in Salzburg for Central and Southeastern Europe. It plans on investing 28 million in this new location. Just last week, BMW group laid the foundation stone for its new BMW Group and campus in Salzburg for Central and Southeastern Europe.
The company also plans on expanding the campus with 400 employees. And the new campus gets inaugurated on Autumn of 2020.
Governor Dr. Wilfried Haslauer said – “This laying of the foundation stone for the campus Salzburg proves how strongly the companies of the BMW Group are rooted in Salzburg. The fact that such a renowned leading company has remained. And the high willingness to invest are a clear and lasting commitment to Salzburg as a business location.”
“I am very pleased that in the future, approximately 400 employees will find the most modern framework conditions at the new campus in order to continue to be so innovative and successful.”
The Managing Director of the BMW Group, Florentinos also joined the Foundation ceremony. And he explained – “In 1977 we sold just over 6000 BMWs in Austria from Salzburg. Last year, we sold almost 72,000 automobiles in 12 countries from here, generating sales of around 3 billion Euros.”
“With a financing Volume of 2 billion Euros, we are also looking at a record figure for BMW Financial Services. This is a great success- for us and for Salzburg. And I am delighted that with the laying of the foundation stone for our new BMW Group Campus today we are sending an important signal for our continued international success at the location. This is good for Salzburg. AlsoThis is good for Austria.”
The campus plans say that it covers an area of about 12000 m square. And by the end of 2020, the new innovative office with an integrated training center will stand on this ground in Salzburg.
